The Depreciation History report allows you to view a report of Book or Tax depreciations.
Report Options
- Complete the following options as needed.

- Change Appearance? - Check the box in order to change the font type and size. There is also a drop-down option to control the white space between the columns by a percentage.

Depreciation Type:
- To Book
- For Tax Calculations Only.
- Depreciation Thru - Select the date ranges from which you want to view depreciation history. Additional date filters may appear depending on what option you choose.
Report:
- Click the Run Report button to generate a preview of the report. Refer to the Report Preview help page for more information. Click the Clear Preferences link to reset all of your report preferences to their default values if needed.

All depreciations run within the date range you selected display. For each depreciation the following information display:
- Date: The date the depreciation was posted is displayed.
- Who Posted: The user who processed the depreciation is displayed.
- Journal: (for depreciations to Book only) The journal type and number of the journal entry is displayed.
- Asset: For each asset the name and tag number are displayed.
- Amount: For each asset the amount depreciated is displayed.
The report also shows initial depreciations generated when a user selects the initial depreciation for a newly entered asset. This is calculated based on the latest book depreciation month and date in Company Information and the life in years selected on the asset itself. These listings do not have Journal information. Totals for each depreciation within the date range are also displayed.
- Click the Close Report button to return to the dashboard.
